He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Kelty and Elizabeth "Betty" Kelty; the mother of his children Patricia Ann Barnes; his granddaughter Julia Catherine; and his sister-in-law Connie Kelty.
He is survived by: his nephew William Lawrence Kelty (Julie); his daughter Elizabeth Marie Bell (James); his siblings, John Robert "Bob" Kelty (Karen), Daniel Joseph "Danny" Kelty (Donna), James Albert "Jimmy" Kelty (Cheryl), Catherine Ann "Cathy" Coco (Ed) and Judith Marie "Judy" Kelty (Mark); and his grandchildren, Emily Nicole Montoya, Virginia Paige Montoya, Aurelia Grace Bell and John Ransom Everett Bell. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved brothers and sisters.
