With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lavona M Parks of Hampton, Virginia, born in Watertown, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024. In the vast expanse of eternity, Lavona shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lavona farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Albert J. Parks Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Scott Parks, Kimberly Roney, Albert Parks Jr. and Leta Hatch; and her brothers, David Vancour and Tommy Vancour. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
