It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Byrd Sr. (Hampton, Virginia), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Madison Byrd Sr. and Oura Byrd; and his siblings, Bennie, Arthur, Madison Jr., Carolyn and Lilly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Curtis Byrd (Carolyn), Linwood, Doris (John) and Gloria (Carlton); his children, Gerald Williams (Donetta), Larry Byrd Jr. (Makeda), Maria Jordan (Karras) and Marcus Byrd; and his grandchildren, Gerald Jr., Nadia, Nasem, Rylee, Larry III, Quintin, Juliana, Liam, Jax and Londyn. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
