He was predeceased by: his parents, I. H. Parker and Myrtle Shrieves Parker; and his siblings, Creston E. Parker and June Parker Miles. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Marion Parker; his daughter Dorian Parker Chamberlain (Brandon) of Appomattox, VA; his granddaughter Krista Mohrmann (Jeremy) of Lincolnton, NC; and his great grandchildren, Hank and Rory Mohrmann of Lincolnton, NC..
