She was predeceased by: her son Craig Oliver Smith; her husband Oliver Smith; her stepdaughter Delores Hunter; her sister Euperta 'Pertie Gaston; her nephew Wayne Gaston; and her great-nieces, Michelle Gaston and Jennifer Turner.
She is survived by: her close friends, Myers, Granady and Harlem; her niece Michele G. Sydney (Vincent) of Hampton, VA; her nephew Alexander Y. Gaston, Jr. of Stockbridge, GA; and also Judy. She is also survived by cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
