She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Starling and Etta Lucile Starling Sutherland of Owensboro, KY; and her brother Alex Montgomery of Owensboro, KY. She is survived by: her sister Linda Long of Decatur, GA; her children, Lawrence Henry "Trio" Meriwether of Owensboro, KY and Sheridan Meriwether of Hampton, VA; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tyson Meriwether of Owensboro, KY, Leilani and Shylon Harris of Hampton, VA; her niece Tierra Long of Decatur, GA; her great-nephew Desmond Ellis of Decatur, GA; and her aunt Emma Parker of Joliet, IL.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery Chapel (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
