With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juan Mendoza of Hampton, Virginia, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Candelario and Juana; and his brother Mendy. He is survived by: his wife Maria Lugo-Mendoza; his sons, John Mendoza (Wanda) of Parlin and David Mendoza of Brooklyn, NY; his stepchildren, Louie Ramirez, Xiomara Ortiz, Jessica Mullins (William) and Lily Gonzalez; his siblings, Junior Mendoza, Patricia Gomez, Lydia Mendoza and Aida Mateo; his grandchildren, John, Jr., David, Justin, Matthew, Kaylee, Jonathan, Ashley, Cassidy, Nadia, Daniel, Annelise and Shayna; and his great grandchildren, Alia, Mariah, Alexandra and Jalisa.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on gatherings and activities, all current guidelines are to be observed during visitations, including the use of face coverings and social distancing.
