It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Tony Sanzo Jr. of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Sanzo and Madeline Sanzo; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Jody Sanzo and Karen Sanzo; his son-in-law Jay Scribner; his grandchildren, Victoria Sanzo-Hardy, Peyton Crum, Carson Crum, Pierce Scribner and Bo Scribner; and his siblings, Nick, Steve, Jesse, Tony, Betty, Corrine, Rosie and Evie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that you please wear a mask while visiting the funeral home and at the graveside funeral; and socially distance. Due to Covid, the family will not be present during all viewing hours and are not having a reception afterwards.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Peninsula Food Bank.
