It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Arthur Ahl of Hampton, Virginia, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ahl and Lois Ahl (Dixon); his grandparents, Howard, Anna Ahl, Orville and Mable Dixon; his aunts, Lorraine Hawes (Chuck), Charlotte Brown (Bud), Bernice Leary (Edward) and Barbara Dixon; and his cousin Janis Kuska.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Ahl; his siblings, William Boswell (Karen), Deborah Miller (Chris), Diane Clark, Kimberly Bowling and Connie Keefer; his cousins, Craig Leary (Kathy), Neil Leary (Pam) and Karen Davis; his parents-in-law, Michael Largena (Bonnie), Gerald Paxton, Jr. (Michelle), Christopher Largena and Susan Barba; and his nephew Allen Paxton. He is also survived by cousins and extended family.
