It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Pressley Hargett of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garren Hargett and Diantha Hargett; and his sisters, Pamela Reynolds and Raye Hargett. He is survived by: his wife Carole Hargett; his daughter Diantha Nicole Silva (Joseph Silva); his sister Gina Hargett-Freed (Michael Freed); his siblings-in-law, Judy Strickland (John Strickland), Michael Crawford and Becky Betz; his niece Wendy Stork (Kenny); his great-nieces, Meagan and Marina; his nephew Jay Strickland (Kristi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cole, Brock and Ally; his nephew Jeff Strickland (Stephanie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson, Knox and Skyler Crawford (Beth); and also Maicey.
