Salter; his children, Debbie King (Markeo), Jonathan Rogers Jr. (Aisha) of Hampton, VA., Markease Jones (Krystal) of Hampton, VA., Charles Jones of Hampton, VA., Eric Rogers of Hampton, VA. and Joshua Salter of Hampton, VA.; his siblings, Deaconess Sarah Bolden (Arthur), Patricia Ann Lipkins (Wayne) of Hampton, Virginia, James Henry Salter of Newport News, Virginia, Ross Salter of Newport News, Virginia and James William Rogers of Newport News, Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, James Drew (Hilda), John Drew of Tuckahoe, NY, Valdalia Wright of Mascotte, FL. and Jackie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
