With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Bennett of Hampton, Virginia, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Bennett and Gertrude Bennett; his sons, Kenneth Cunningham (Pam) and Jeff Cunningham (Sandy); his grandsons, Matt Cunningham (Amy) and Aaron Cunningham (Michelle); his great grandchild Lilly Cunningham; and his wife Millie Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's name to the SPCA.
