It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn McCleod of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Whit McCleod and Maggie Lee McCleod; and her siblings, Ann Brown, Mary McCleod (Gloria), Cipriano McCleod and Demetrious Brown.

She is survived by: her friend JoAnn McCleod; her brother Clifford Brown of Huntsville; her niece Demetria Brown of Florida; her godchildren, Andre Christian, Theodore S. Rainey, Hapte Rainey and Zion Rainey; and also, Marie Rogers, Fredric Woods, Renee Cox of Covington Georgia, Fitzgerald Woods of Anchorage Alaska, Jacqueline Lipford-Rainey (Theodore), Shelia Johnson, Carmen Barnette, Markita Van De Riet and Cyndi Owens. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
