As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Campbell. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Wayne Campbell (Susan) and James W. Campbell, Jr. (Dela); her granddaughter Victoria Campbell; and her great grandchild Emily Rose Bullington.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666).
