He is survived by: his significant other Grace E. Smith; his sons, Edward D. Smith (Janet) and Raymond A. Smith (Lisa); his grandsons, Zachary M Smith (Tori) and Cody E. Smith (Bridgette); and his great grandchildren, Carson Raymond, Ava Rose, Emma Grace and Hunter Marie.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation to the American Cancer Society or Shriners Hospital.
