It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannine Stooks (Hampton, Virginia), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard J. Mattare and Mary Louise Mattare of Hampton, Virginia.; her former husband Captain Mark Hopkins Jr.; and her husband William E. Stooks. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie M. Jackson (Gary) of Newport News, VA and Mark Hopkins (Kim) of Hampton, VA; her grandchildren, Chris Jackson (Anastasia), Patrick Jackson, Clint Jackson (Heather), Andrea Truong (Lee) of Jacksonville, FL, Ryan Hopkins and Mark Hopkins IV (Shannon) of England; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Evan Jackson, Kyle, Marc Jackson, Abigail, Caroline, Benjamin Jackson, Kenji, Tatum Truong and Cody Hopkins; and her niece Melissa Corum. She is also survived by friends…I LOVE YOU MOM.
