We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2023, at the age of 103, Jeanette Bryant Brooks of Hampton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Brooks; her parents, O. P. Bryant and Ruby Bryant; and her brother William P. Bryant. She is survived by: her children, Janice B. Barefoot of Hampton, Bruce James Brooks (Dannielle) of Leesburg, FL and Beth B. Suiter (Mark) of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Lisa Muckelroy, James, Jeffrey Barefoot, Michael, Matthew Brooks, Angel Fowler and Rebecca Suiter; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Carter Muckelroy, Rylee Blevins, Camden, Paityn, Abby, Emma Barefoot, Alexa, Logan, Ashton Brooks, Addison and David Fowler, Jr.; and her great great grandchild Kalayah Muckelroy.
