He was predeceased by: his father Randall Shafer; his brother Brandon Allan Shafer; and his grandparents, Madeline, Joseph F. Blankley Sr., Lucille and Lawrence Shafer.
He is survived by: his mother Darlene Shafer of Hampton, Virginia; his girlfriend Jennifer Parker; and his girlfriend's children, Zoe, Charlie and Matthew. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, & cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
