She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Hood and Ethel Julia Hood; and her siblings, James R. Hood Jr., William C. Hood and Mary N. Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Salvatore "Boogie" Nicosia, Jr.; her children, Michael Nicosia (Carol), Lynn Steiner (Vilas), Salvatore "Nick" Nicosia III (Effie) and Paige Slemp (Randy); her grandchildren, Tony Nicosia (Angie), Bryan Eubanks (Hannah), Rachel Hartberger (Adam), Laura Slemp, Vince Nicosia (Anna) and Brendan Nicosia (Rachel); and her great grandchildren, Connor, Cole, Juliana and Logan. She is also survived by her family and friends.
