He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Marshall Hunsucker. He is survived by: his children, James F. Hunsucker, Jr. (Debra) of Charles Town, WV and Celia H. Hudgins (Glenn) of Carrsville, VA; his grandchildren, James F. Hunsucker, III (Nikole), Hilary Klich (Lance), Christy Gillam (Bryce) and Jeremy Hudgins; and his great grandchildren, Costin, Fortres, Valor, Mya, Roman, Maxwell and Leah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home (210 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peninsula Memorial Park (12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606).
