He is survived by: his sister Delores Lavinia Fobbs; his children, Montrose Robin Cones of Hampton, James Henry Cones, III (Brenda) of Los Angeles, Myra Lynn Cones (Yvonne), Tracey LaVerne Renshaw-Cones (Warren) of Fort Washington, Mark Christopher Cones (Maureen) of Baltimore, Catherine Elizabeth Cones and Kelly McCord Cones (Jasmine) of Hampton; and his wife Brenda. He is also survived by his eight sons and daughters; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brother and sisters in law; six sons and daughters in law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home (251 W Queen St, Hampton, VA 23669). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
