He was predeceased by: his father James Jenkins; his stepparents, Helen Hill and Til Glen; his mother-in-law Frances Musolino; and his brother-in-law Mark Lassiter.

He is survived by: his pets, Kirby, Pepper and Woody; his wife Fran Jenkins; his mother Jean Glenn; his sister Holly Boone (David); his niece Kelley Boone; his brother Donnie Nettles; his niece Carrie Batista; his sister-in-law Nancy Lassiter; his niece Brooke Nesbit (Matthew); his nephew Tyler Lassiter; and his sisters-in-law, Emma Doane and Carol Welch.
