He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hubert Wagstaff and Mae Belle Vincent Wagstaff; and his wife Lenora M. Wagstaff. He is survived by: his sons, Wagstaff, II (Sonia), Chief Engineer Harold E. Wagstaff (Jill) and Jeffrey E. Wagstaff (Kristie); his grandchildren, Rafael R. McKenzie (Terrin), Suryka D. McKenzie, Giselle A. Wagstaff, Jeffrey E. Wagstaff, II, Maya A. Wagstaff, Joshua O. Odejoke-Maxwell and John C. Odejoke-Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Channing T. Rhoda, Jaelyn L. Mckenzie, Deonte J. Griffin and Denim J. Griffin; his sister Willie Mae Lucas; his friend Jean Trower; and also Phil (Jackie). He is also survived by five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 16 great, great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shalom Baptist Church (1111 24th St, Newport News, VA 23607). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
