He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his parents, Hubert S. Kostyal and Aleithia Kostyal; his stepson Grady Coltrain; his granddaughter Nicole Shifflett; and his sister-in-law Debbie Kostyal.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Plessinger (David), Mark Kostyal (Linda), Julie McLane (Kevin), Lorraine Rabe and Tammy Shifflett (Rick); his stepchildren, Brady Coltrain, Gary Coltrain, Earnest Coltrain, James Coltrain (Renee) and Beth Hoss (Jhon); and his siblings, James Kostyal (Ruth), Wayne Kostyal and Aleithia Powell (Mike). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
