We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2023, Howard Douglas Parrish of Hampton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Ann Parrish of Hampton; his children, Melody Townsend (Tommy) of Yorktown, Randy Parrish (Tracey) of Yorktown and Wendy Morse (Darrell) of Yorktown; his grandchildren, Matthew Townsend, Sarah Brown (Patrick), Courtney Brightbill (Jordan), Clayton Parrish (Zoë), Caroline Player (Brendan) and Jared Morse; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Mackenna Brown, Hudson Brightbill and Olivia Parrish.

In lieu of flowers, Doug had requested that contributions in his name be made to the Peninsula Rescue Mission, 2700 Huntington Ave., Newport News, VA 23607.
