He was predeceased by:, Jay, Macie Houghton-Sink, Davis, Holden and Logan Sherrill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charity Houghton (Makesha) of Hampton, Cherish Sherrill (Marty) of Statesville and Christina Houghton of Hampton, Virginia.; and his brothers, Steve, Kent and Billy. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
