She was predeceased by: her parents, John Talton and Helen Talton (Chapman); and her brothers, Clarence Talton, Joseph Talton and Willie Talton (Kit).
She is survived by: her children, Marian Kearney of Hampton, VA and Gerston James Jr. (Katina Ward-James) of Hampton, VA; her grandchildren, Gerston James III (Adriona) of Woodbridge, VA, Jordan James of Hampton, VA and Austin Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; and her great grandchildren, Skyler Winns and Gianna James of Woodbridge, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighborhood children.
