He is survived by: his mother-in-law Peggy J. Cash; his children, Michael Cash (Donna) of Leesburg, Hardy Cash, Jr. (Sidony) of Leesburg, Paul Cash of Nottoway and Amy Cash (Ed) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Tyler Cash (Stephanie) of Los Angeles and Molly Cash Ditka (David) of Leesburg, Virginia; his stepdaughters, Melissa Nelms (Danny) and Kathryn Edmonson (Frankie); his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Molihan of Jack Nelms, J. D, Grizzle, Mackenzie Grizzle, Lauren Edmonson and Kendall Edmonson; and also, Lucy, Maggie Ditka, Arthur and Calvin Cash. He is also survived by His father died 10 months later, just 4 months before the Stock Market crashed in 1929, leaving his mother to raise the children.
