He is survived by: his wife Brenda Barba Sweeney; his children, Paula Aquino (Jose), David Sweeney (Donna-Jean), Scott Sweeney (Desiree) and Laura Sweeney (Stan); his siblings, Johnny Nesmith (Ellie) and Larue Haynes (Jerry); his grandchildren, Brittani, Dustyn, Michael, Cody, Brittnie, Nicole, Chelsey, Robyn, Tyler, Caiden, Paislee, Seth, Adrianna and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Cooper, Millie, Chase and Taelynne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
