Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gerald Phillips (Hampton, Virginia), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 83, on August 25, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Phillips and Edwin Phillips; his wife Sharon (Steiger); and his siblings, Margaret Jean Phillips, Mary Ilene Bielat and E. C. Phillips (Chuck).

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle DeDitius (John) of Lorton, VA, Melissa McDonald (David) of Yorktown, VA and Jannine Moores (Jonathan) of Niantic, CT; his siblings, William Phillips (Jack) of Almont, MI and Geraldine Matthews of Macomb, MI.; and his sister-in-law Sondra Phillips of Fraser, MI.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
