It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Smith Gentry of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burlie Smith and Josephine Smith; and her brothers, Harry Lee Smith, William Smith (Bill), Beatie Smith (Jack) and James Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Gentry; her stepsons, Craig and Kevin Gentry; and her siblings, Betty Yates and Burlie Smith (June).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization Geneva felt strongly about.
