She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mason and Mary Mason; her husband Curtis W. Newsome Sr.; her sister Sharon Toepper; and her grandson Ryan Wade Newsome.
She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Jr. (Melinda), Bryan (Cathie) and Vaughn; her grandchildren, Courtney VanSciver (Chris), Lindsey Sampley (Robbie), Curtis W. III (Beth), Elizabeth Newsome (Tyler) and Chad Newsome; and her great grandchild Pearl. She is also survived by her three sons, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
