Cremation has taken place a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 101 Blackburn Ln., Hampton, VA 23666. Memorial contributions may be given to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease.
WEAVER, Fred E. City Age 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Fred was born in New Paris, Ohio on June 10, 1955, the son of the late Delbert J., Sr. and Junita E. (Gregg) Weaver. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1995. Fred attended Abundant Life Tabernacle in Hampton, Virginia and most recently, Lawton Church of God. On August 24, 1974, he married the former Jean E. Mazza, who preceded him in death on March 8, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his son, Clifford Weaver and sister, Vergie (Pat) Ewing. Fred is survived by his children, Edward Weaver, Martina (Stephen) Curtis, Holly Weaver and Kyle Weaver; grandchildren, Abby (Roscoe) Johnson, Victoria (Austin) Somero, Lyllian Curtis, Seth Weaver and Bethany Curtis; four great-grandchildren and siblings, Phoebe Zumburn, Delbert, Jr. (Kathy) Weaver and James Weaver.
