She was predeceased by: her husband Latney Adkins; her daughter Deborah Jane Adkins Psaute; her parents, Ardie Brooks and Ettie Brooks; her brother Chester Brooks; her friend Mabel Coleman Brooks; her brother Paul Brooks (Linda); her nephew Danny; her brother J. C. Brooks; her half-siblings, Anna Pearl Jameson and Earl Swift; and also, Anna Sue Brooks Crutcher, Ricky, Duren, Delores and Jean Akins.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Adkins; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Mull Adkins; her daughter Joyce Ann Adkins; her son-in-law Donald Psaute; and her granddaughter Aimee Psaute. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She had a personal foundation in faith and lived her Christian values every day.
