It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fossie F. Herbert (Hampton, Virginia), born in Hastings, Florida, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Herbert and Hattie Herbert; his significant other Thelma; and his siblings, Clarence, Charlie, Fred and Dinah Mae.
He is survived by: his brother Eugene; his nieces and nephews, Lois, Vernell, Sammie, David, Theresa (Blaine) and Michelle; his grandchildren, Ashley, Anya, Kimberly (Chris) and Elijah; and his great grandchildren, Kyah, Freya and Ares. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
