He was predeceased by: his father Floyd S. Meekins. He is survived by: his mother Marie Carter Moore; his siblings, Frances Watson, Rebecca Gary (Michael) and Frank Christian; his aunts, Ann Lemons (Fxic Lemons) and Rev. Betty Carter (Deacon Roger Carter); and his godchildren, Kairo and Egyptian Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
