Evelyn Golden Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 75, Evelyn Golden (Hampton, Virginia), born in Niagara Falls, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Bradley and Inez Dotson Allen; her stepfather Joe N. Allen; and her sister Sharon R. Allen. She is survived by: her husband John H. Golden of Hampton, VA; her stepdaughter Tonya R. Golden of Hampton, VA; her granddaughter Courtney Smith (Alex Smith); her great grandchild Logan Smith of Hampton, VA.; and her siblings, Annie P. Young (John) of Hampton, VA, Mary-Ann McNeill of Newport News, VA, Kay Allen of Hampton, VA, Tarita Stonewall (Leland) of Hampton, VA, Michelle Hussey (Darryl) of Chillicothe, OH and Charles Grace (Ann) of Dozier. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple (3100 Butternut Dr, Hampton, VA 23666).
