She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Benton (Buddy); her sons, William and Robert; and her sister Jean. She is survived by: her children, Brenda English of Newport News, Calvin Benton, Jr. (Bobbie) of South Carolina and Michael Wayne Benton of Newport News. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
