It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Perdue Womack of Hampton, Virginia, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Perdue and Jewel Perdue; and her husband Joseph L. Womack, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Turner (Mark), Charles Womack (Katharine) and Lee Francella (Gary); her grandchildren, Eric, Ryan Turner, Lindsay Turner Seddon (Thomas), Caitlin, Alyssa Womack, Layne Francella (Kylie) and Olivia Francella; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Charlotte Seddon.
