She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Acker (Don) of Clarksburg, MD.; her granddaughter Lauren; and her sister Dorothy Woodward of Fredericksburg, VA..
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Washington Masonic Cemetery (19 Fodderstack Rd, Washington, VA 22747). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ivy Memorial Baptist Church (2200 Coliseum Dr, Hampton, VA 23666).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation or the Women's Alzheimer's Movement at the Cleveland Clinic.
