He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonney Riddick and Mary Riddick; his children, Ellis Jr. (Sherrie) and Gloria Jean; and his siblings, James (Floyd), Laura Lee, Hayward, Clyde, Claude, George, Isaac, Clifton and Glennis.
He is survived by: his children, Paulette (Sydney), George (Janice), William, Kathy (Alvin), Jonthan (Andy), Janet (Clarence), Cynthia (Larry) and Tammy (Chris). He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
