It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Hyman of Hampton, Virginia, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonso Hill and Mary Evans; her sisters, Ameta Hill and Carolyn Kelly; and her daughter Peggy.
She is survived by: her husband Guy Hyman; her sons, Guy Jr., Winston "Earl" and George; her grandchildren, LaJayce, Mercedes, Courtney, Mya and Genesis; and her great grandchildren, JayShawn, Jayla, Zaniyah, Amora, Zaiden and Abel. She is also survived by many loving friends and family members.
