It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Holloway of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Bertha Taliaferro; her son Andre Holloway; her sister-in-law Doreatha Golden; her grandson Jonathan; and her mother-in-law Ruth Woodley.
She is survived by: her husband John Holloway Sr.; her children, Tanisha Taliaferro, Johniqua Holloway, Melinda Holloway (Jules), Anntoine Whitaker Greene (Xavier) and John Holloway Jr.; her grandchildren, Khali Ashurst, Raymond Holloway (Shukura), Tameka Holloway, LeVar Whitaker (Je-Nee), Jimarr Whitaker (Brenda), Glenn Whitaker (Darcel) and Jaylen Holloway; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Gibson (William), Sharon Brooks (Frederick) and Jennifer Harris. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
