She was predeceased by: her father James "Junie" Propst, Jr.; and her stepfather James Douglas Miller. She is survived by: her husband William Van Newman; her children, Joshua Michael Perry, Taylor Mae Moore (Dylan), Tiffany Marie Newman (Stephen) and Tyler Michael Perry; her mother Doris J. Miller; her grandchildren, Madelynn Mae Thomas, Blakelynn Montgomery Moore, Amelia Jean Grage and Tristen Alexander Grage; and her siblings, Valerie Ann Cash and James Stuart Propst, III. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
