She is survived by: her children, Bobby Ellis (Ronald Hooker), Rahman Abdul-Samad of Woodbridge, VA., Colbert Hooker (Rosetta), Carl Hooker (Reginal Hooker) and Dr. Yvonne Burrell; her children-in-law, Peter Burrell of Hampton, VA. and Hakima Muhammad; and her stepchildren, Leroy Kelley (Jean) of Cary, NC, Jackie Wilson, Lavatta Henry, Sandra Kelley of Newport News, VA., Sylvia Coles, Cheryl Kelley and Alice Jones.
