“I was so saddened and shocked by your passing. To the family of De'Quante Lamont Ortiz, you have my deepest condolences. De'Quante and I met at the center, I was his counselor and he and I shared our love for the Steelers!!!!!!!!! De'Quante would call me mom and we formed a bond while he was at the center. I will forever miss your smile, your rapping and dancing around the center.... and most of all I will miss you calling me mom. Thank You De'Quante for the beautiful words you wrote in my birthday card it meant a lot. To Ms. Johnson De'Quante was a beautiful young man with a great heart. He had a girlfriend at the center that he was a total gentleman with, you would have been proud of him.”
