Though Denise has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Buchanan and Dan Cooper. She is survived by: her son Daniel Clayton (Virginia); her grandson Caleb Clayton; and her siblings, Calvin Cooper, Sr., Deborah Davis, Dan Cooper and Angela Burrell. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus (630 Anderson Ln, Hampton, VA 23661).
