He was predeceased by: his parents, Ona G. Evans and Carl N. Evans; his siblings, Robert C. Evans, Richard L. Evans and Laurie Hodson; and his son Bruce Evans of Marion Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta J. Evans (Bobbie) of Hampton; his son Jonathan Evans (Lori); his grandchildren, Paige Evans of Hampton and Christopher Evans of Hampton; his daughter Karen Nicely of Suffolk; and his grandchildren, Sydney Bass of Evansville Indiana, Seth Evans of Astoria and Brogan Evans of Greensburg, PA..
