He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Sundberg (Pearson); and his adoptive mother Helen Burke (Phil). He is survived by: his father Denis Sundberg; his wife Dorothy; his children, Lauri Sundberg, Lynn Plata (Errol), Tom Sundberg (Elizabeth) and Clyde Sundberg, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jonah, Shea, Arte and Caroline; and his sister Judy Pazik.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home (245 S Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Manor Chapel (1794 First St, Hampton, VA 23665).
