He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kathi Crowder and Hoppie Crowder (Laura); his grandchildren, Eric Shortt, Brittany Ayers (Drew), Ashley Shortt (Corey), Kristen Price (Billy), Michael Crowder and Timothy Hodge; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Penelope, Lexie, Ally and Joseph; and his sister Genis Bird Hornsby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (235 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
